Choosing the grounds

We go through your case: a work permit route via an IE, study, investment, IT specialist, family reunification. We check whether the income threshold is met and what works best.

Work permit

For a work residence permit it is mandatory even for remote workers. We prepare the package: business plan, income documents, contracts, and prepare you for the video call with the Employment Agency.

Residence permit package

Notarized passport translation, IE extract and status certificate, 12-month income proof, bank statement, tax clearance certificate. We settle the address question in advance.

Filing and decision

Online application, then originals at the Public Service Hall within 10 days. Review takes 30, 20 or 10 days depending on the fee. The first permit is usually for one year.

Renewal

We remind you 40 days before expiry, check that the conditions still hold and prepare the renewal package.

FAQ

The threshold is 50,000 GEL of income over the last 12 months through your Georgian IE, roughly 4,200 GEL a month. You can apply as soon as the threshold is met.
Not for the work itself: since the amendment of 16 April 2026 remote workers and service providers to non-residents are exempt. For a work residence permit an approved work permit remains a mandatory document.
Residence permit: 300, 450 or 600 GEL for a 30, 20 or 10-day review. Work permit: 200 GEL for 30 days or 400 GEL for 10 business days. You pay the state fees; our price covers consulting and package preparation.
The address. A residence permit requires address registration: either a notarized lease or the owner visiting the Public Service Hall in person. Check the owner's position before signing a lease.
No. The work permit is still required, but IT specialists get it for 3 years at once. Only permanent residence removes the requirement.
